Spotify for Podcasters App Add Comments Feature
Spotify for Podcasters has recently rolled out a new feature known as ‘Comments’. This new service enables viewers to post comments to podcasts and get responses from podcasters, thus making the communication much more personal.

In addition to the Comments feature, the appearance of the app has been updated to offer real-time performance stats for podcasts. This means that podcasters will be able to get notifications each time their show features on any Spotify charts. This update comes shortly after Spotify raised the prices for their subscription services in the United States for the second time in a year.
Comments on Spotify for Podcasters
In a blog, Spotify outlined the Comments feature and other updates to the Spotify for Podcasters app in detail. This feature is based on the Q&A feature that was introduced in 2021 to make listener interaction more manageable by allowing comments on podcast episodes.
Podcasters can respond, choose which comments are read during the live episode, or even delete the comments for some episodes or the entire show. Podcaster support will also inform users when the podcaster they are a fan of has liked or commented on the users’ content. Podcasters also have a chance to remove the comments left and ban these users if it is needed.
Enhanced Analytics and Audience Insights
New features have been added to allow podcast episodes within the app to showcase performance analytics and provide listeners with key audience data. It helps the podcasters to know where they are receiving the most attention so they can direct their content to that area.
Previously, only audiograms were available in the Spotify for Podcasters app, but now the Comments section is also available there. However, this introduction of comments also signifies the discontinuation of the Q&A component, which will be gradually done away with. However, questions and answers will still be shown on the episode pages.
