Akasa Air Enters the United Arab Emirates: Inaugural Flight Departs from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi

National, 11 July 2024: Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, has launched operations in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, with daily direct flights connecting it to Mumbai. The inaugural flight departed from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 17:05 IST and is scheduled to arrive at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi at 18:50 AST.

A special event was held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to flag off the maiden flight, featuring a ceremonial lamp lighting by members of Akasa Air’s Executive Committee. The leadership of Mumbai International Airport Limited also attended, and a special boarding pass was presented to the first passenger on the inaugural flight.

This new route allows travellers to fly with India’s most dependable airline, providing seamless and affordable air travel options between India and the United Arab Emirates.
