Twitter, which is now called X, is testing a new feature that will help fight against spam messages. A feature that blocks any sharing of URLs in replies is being developed by the site, according to an app researcher called Nima Owji.
Nima Owji put up an image suggesting that it might be possible for people who do not want their tweets linked or responded to have the option of activating a tick box bar.
As the Senior Director for Security Engineering at X, Christopher Stanley has confirmed that we have a tool that stops people from spamming sites on our posts as well as using fake accounts when marketing our websites.
This way, individuals can prevent others from spreading the wrong information while also preventing them from posting links to authoritative sites.
If we give our opinion that these features will slow down spamming a lot as people scroll through the links again and again and click on them by mistake, if this feature is launched, then it will be beneficial for the users.
