A team of Chinese telecom engineers has created the world’s first field 6G test network for intelligent integration and communication. Semantic communication can achieve 6G transmission capacities on the current 4G infrastructure, as the experimental network has shown.

World’s First 6G Test Network

The group from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications presented their research at a conference meeting on Wednesday. His theory is that the network will improve 10 times faster in communication metrics such as capacity, coverage, and efficiency.

The network is a platform that facilitates and supports the institution’s theoretical research and initial verification of the need for 6G technologies.

China plans to bring 6G, the next generation of wireless technology, to the market by 2030. 6G standards are anticipated to be established by 2025.

6G technology is a wireless communication of the coming days which will be different from today’s 5G. It is made in such a way that the data speed will be fast, which means any person can download files, OTT streams, and open and use apps fast.

6G Test Network Focus

This technology aims to make the communication device as fast as possible when we play online games and make video calls. Additionally, 6G technology promises to support several devices at once. These developments are going to significantly boost several sectors by improving connections and opening the door to more advanced applications.

The focus of 6G development is to enhance connectivity beyond traditional uses. This means expanding coverage to remote areas and enhancing durability in difficult settings like undersea or crowded metropolitan regions. It is being said that 6G technology will support applications like autopilot cars, remote surgery, and VR experience. For which an ultra-fast communication network is required.
